Meditation 10: Speaking from Truth (Satya)

Relax into stillness, become aware of your intent before you speak, and invite satya (truthfulness) into your life with this hypnotherapy-inspired meditation.

Satya is the ethical restraint in yogic philosophy of truthfulness. It’s not simply about blurting out whatever honest truth comes to mind. Instead, it encourages you to align thoughts, words, and actions with truth and kindness.

As you open back to the outside world this spring, consider making sure that your words align with satya and THINK before you speak, only saying what is:

True, Honest & heartfelt, Important, Necessary, Kind

Practicing satya begins with being aware of your thoughts before you speak. Slowing down and finding stillness is the first step for self-reflection.

This relaxing guided meditation uses hypnotherapy techniques to help you relax into stillness, become aware of your intent, and incorporate satya into your life.

Pair this meditation after this season’s Sadhana practice or try it on its own. If you’re curious about hypnotherapy, learn more about how it can help you break through long-held patterns.
